National capitalism and economic diversification

Market, state and economic liberty in Clauses 82–84, 92 and 132

Abstract

The Constitution’s economic order can combine private initiative with a strategic state committed to national capability. This article defines national capitalism, competitive markets, diversification, equal opportunity and measurable development outcomes.

Keywords: national capitalism · market economy · diversification · competition · development
Research method

Doctrinal analysis of the constitutional text, read together with institutional design, comparative public law and implementation risks. The article distinguishes binding text, interpretive principle and policy recommendation.

Meaning of national capitalism

Private ownership, enterprise and price signals generate innovation, while constitutional policy directs infrastructure, skills and strategic resilience. The adjective national describes public purpose, not political allocation of private privilege.

State and market

The state should enforce competition, contracts and financial integrity; correct genuine externalities; and invest where coordination failures block development. State ownership requires a stated rationale, professional governance and transparent accounts.

Diversification

Oil revenue should finance capabilities in agriculture, water, manufacturing, logistics, digital services and research. Procurement, export policy and credit should reward productivity rather than permanent dependence.

Opportunity and measurement

Equal access to education, capital, licensing and courts broadens enterprise. Performance should be measured through productivity, non-resource exports, labour participation, regional balance, innovation and household resilience.

Conclusion

National capitalism succeeds when markets create wealth, public institutions protect competition and resource income builds a diversified sovereign economy.
